Autumn Mist on the Chase

Managed to get up this morning and after a friend mentioned that the heather was still out on Cannock Chase, decided to pop up before breakfast.

Simply wonderful conditions, mist, deeper banks of fog, watery sunlight, it had it all.  In the end I walked about 4 miles and got home just before lunch!  This was the second shot of the day.  I just liked the colour composition and it's simplicity.
