Blood Moon

What a show in the sky tonight, beginning with a spectacular sunset, the rise of the blood moon and the total lunar eclipse!  We were so lucky to have very few clouds in the east so we could watch the whole eclipse.  The huge blood moon rising was really amazing and I was happy to be able to get this shot of an airplane flying in front of it. I really like the first extra too, showing the moon just above the horizon.  The other extras are a few of the many shots I got of the eclipse.  I really hope everyone got to see it in person!

I'm yawning as I post this and I'm not sure I'll get to journals tonight.  If not, I'll catch up in the morning.  :-)
