I saw you stand there alone....

I know, I know, it's pink, but there was another moon which was blue.

I woke at 3.25, not by alarm, well, natural alarm.  I was bursting.  It was either stagger slowly to the loo, or wake himself and ask for a bedpan... I staggered to the loo.   When I had emptied; I waddled through to Tooli's empty room (When I say empty, I mean empty of Tooli, it's still full of stuff.  Yes, she has TWO Full bedrooms full of stuff); and I glanced out the window.

I was quite delighted to spot it, but felt it was lacking in the Super Status.  Yes, it was red, or rose, but it wasn't exactly what I'd call Super.

I decided to try for a wee quick photo, bearing in mind I Had been practicing with a tripod earlier in the evening,

Point one to note:  I was straight out of bed.

Point two. I was completely starkers.

I stood at the back door and tried to focus, without tripod.
Not successful.

I ran off a couple of clicks, and then decided to head back upstairs.

I climbed in and whispered to himself, "The moon is all red, and out there if you want a look".

"Hmmmmmmm"  he said and started snoring again.

I lay for a moment and then thought, no... I should really make the effort for this occasion.   So got back up, and put a t-shirt on (yes, a whole t-shirt), went down and fixed the tripod to the camera, ran back up put the security light off, and went out and sat in the garden.

It was beautiful and still, but strangely noisy -  there seems to be a generator running at the local station.   I was able to sit and enjoy the stars, and of course the moon, and my tripod helped me keep the camera still.  The moon was very small though, not as big as the other night.

Eventually my toes began to nip, and the cold crept up my legs, and my poor bum was frozen.  I pulled it up from the wooden bench, and  I swear I should check out this morning to see if I left a layer of skin.

I crawled back into bed, trying desperately not to let any of my cold bits touch himself... ha!  that was never going to happen, I wrapped as much quilt around me as possible and tried to stem the shivering and teeth chattering.   Eventually I gave up and reached out and stuck my hands underneath the warm body next to me.

As the heat travelled up my arms I felt brave enough to crawl over and fit my freezing bod against him, and I was able then to fall back asleep.

Think I've chilled my insides tho - I was still chittering when I got up this morning.
