Singing in the Dean's Garden
The Cathedral Choir of Christ Church, Oxford, sings in the garden of the Deanery. Their conductor is Dr Stephen Darlington.
The occasion is the Gaudy, a 'feast' to which old members who came to the college in particular years are invited on a rota basis. The guests are enjoying both the singing and their pre-dinner drinks!
This is the scene later in Hall as the dinner itself gets under way.
The menu was as inventive as usual. How the three courses looked on the plate can be seen in the three following linked photographs:
Asparagus with Beef Carpaccio,Summer Truffle and Parmesan
Best End and Shoulder of new Season Lamb with Stinging Nettle Puree, Purple Carrots, Haricot and Broad Beans, Fondant Potato and Onion Rings
Strawberry Cream Torte
