Balboa Park, San Diego, California, USA

Our second day in San Diego - weather beautiful - decided to visit Balboa Park as we'd heard it was a great place to see - definitely not wrong!!

The gardens are just fabulous - the climate in this area provides the perfect conditions for growing almost anything and there is an abundance of green, brightly coloured flowers, water features ........ it's not too busy and parking was easy.
We took the "touristy" bus trip with a guide (very amusing and very knowledgable) - good choice - had some lunch and just enjoyed the day.

Weather fabulous - cannot fault it!!
