Sunday morning walk.

Probably the last of the sunny weather for a while so we went for our walk earlier than usual, along this path towards Weaving Street and eventually onto the Golf Course. A beautiful day to end a great week of weather.

After lunch the grass had dried out sufficiently for me to cut the lawn while Susan tidied up the bedding plants in pots and containers and weeded the front drive. All looks really tidy now.

Spoke to Chris in San Diego. They were expecting rain today. Rain? I ask you, its quite rare out there. Good to talk too. Time to cook dinner which was Mary Berry's Absolutely Favourite Sausage Meat Lasagne. There was Apple Betty to follow. Both were good.

This was the only shot I took today. I realised too late to do anything about it that the bright sunlight burned out the pink on Susan's cardigan. First time I've noticed this effect on the iPhone camera.
