Fire Dance, Torch Lily.....

....Or to give it the proper name, Kniphofia,  but mainly known as The Red Hot Poker. Native  to South Africa, it is resistant to rabbits but adored by butterflies, bees and hummingbirds, due to it's abundance of nectar. This is in one of the flower beds in our communal gardens which are well looked after by the team of gardeners The tenants of the ground floor flats can also often be seen out there with watering cans whilst I can enjoy the splendour from my balcony.
