Face to face

Had to cancel My lunch date today (but rearranged it for November to include opera - thank you Sarah!) so I should have had a whole day to think about packing for Ethiopia. 
I have indeed spent the whole day thinking about packing, but have done lots of other stuff instead ...diversionary tactics since I hate packing....including winding wool into balls for my next pair of socks, watching an episode of Downton Abbey, and even learning the basics of guitar-playing on Garageband (even though I don't own a guitar). 
I then thought about packing while picking blackberries, which is always a very soothing occupation, and took some photos of cows.
It's nearly time for tea now, then I'll have another go...
