Festival time in Valpariso!

We happened to be in the city the weekend of a festival all about music and drums! So last night we walked the city streets with a beer in hand as it's legal here and joined the parties in the streets. The main square was full of young people drinking and dancing to the drums being played. Such an awesome atmosphere! We also went to a bar to try the local drink here called Terremoto, which translates to earthquake in English! A very sweet cocktail based on white wine and pineapple gelato. Today was the big festival parade, full of drum bands and dancers! This parade went for upwards of 5 hours, it was amazing to see, the whole town came to watch and we saw all sorts of crazy artsy people doing their (naked) thing!
