Backblip 4th October: Wolf

A frosty start and an early departure from Glen Banchor, in the hope of a clear run at that narrow road. We were successful. Breakfast and showers happened in a lay-by on the way to the Wildlife Park, where we managed to arrive around 20 minutes before opening. 

The frost and mist gave way to bright (and hot) sunshine again. I took many rubbish photos. Wanted to bring the Red Pandas home with me and also fell for the Wolverine but this chap won my heart over all the others.

The day being so very fine we decided to leg it over to Cairngorm and go up the Mountain Railway whilst the sun was shining.Having checked the weather forecast at the Ranger's Office there, we decided against the original plan to sleep at the Base Station car park and we ended up in the camp site at Loch Morlich instead.
