Pre-Dinner Cocktails

Amsterdam Day Two.
I'd like to say we got up early and set off into Amsterdam to explore the canals; to visit the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum; to wander round the flower market; to watch street performers in Dam Square and perhaps have a few more beers in a canal side bar.
But we did none of these things.
We stayed on the ship, ate too much, wrapped up in blankets and sat out on deck, drank cocktails, played Scrabble (Me: 360, Mr K: 310. Just saying!!) read our books, enjoyed afternoon tea, went out on deck to watch the sail away from Amsterdam (which involved a fairly impressive 180 degree turn in the canal and a fun half hour waving at all the people waving at us from the shore) and generally had a brilliant lazy day.
