The Dog Dancing Competition
All my humans went off for something I've never heard of before this morning. It was called "brunch", and for some reason had to happen at a restaurant downtown, so I wasn't allowed to come. Apparently, it was delicious. Sausages, cheeses, prawns, salmon - I would have loved it. We could have eaten outdoors...we sometimes do in restaurants? Mum just laughed at this and said it's too late in the season for that.
As soon as mum was back, we headed out to watch parts of a freestyle/HtM (dog dancing) competition that was held indoors at the other dog club. Indoors means lots of dogs in a limited space and added and different challenges from competing outdoors. We weren't competing, it was the more advanced classes only, but mum wanted to check out the brand new premises and get a feel for what an indoor competition is like. She claims. AND to see some great dog dancing, of course. I reminded her.
I was only allowed in for a short time, hence the fuzzy shot. It sort of conveys the atmosphere, though. Dogs and handlers everywhere, and you can see props like a circus tent, an Exit sign and a cork oak, for example. Mum watched the best, including our teacher Malin and Tobi, who did really well! Tobi is soo clever, he can do things like backwards slalom!
