Saturday: Ljubljana Cathedral

K. and I drove up to Ljubljana today for a little jolly.  My colleague, who works there, was away for the weekend and had kindly offered us his flat.

Ljubljana really is staggeringly pretty and we had a great time wandering around.  It is a bit more quirky and funky than Zagreb.  The best thing, though, was the food and drink!  We had burritos for lunch at Dok 19, numerous pints of Human Fish, the finest pint of pale ale in this part of the world, followed by a Thai meal at the Thai Pub Inn.  Given that you can't get burritos, real ale or Thai food in Zagreb we were beside ourselves!

As K. said, it was lovely to eat food that makes you need to blow your nose.

I also tried my first ever HDR shot, inspired by Life Slips By.  Ljubljana Cathedral was the unwilling victim.
