Friends and Cake

After a sedentary morning doing all sorts of holiday online stuff, I headed out to Verity's and we drove over to pick up Helen to walk the next 'Millennium Circular Walk' in the book.  We parked up on Penistone Moor and picked up the footpath through various farmhouses and fields to Oxenhope and from there we followed the Bronte Way/Railway Children trail to Haworth.  There were not many tourists in the village today so plenty of room in Cobbles and Clay where we stopped for a cuppa and cake.  Verity and I had the lemon drizzle whilst Helen went for the chocolate and courgette - yummy.  Great to catch up with families; solve the problems with education, politics and ensure world peace etc etc
