Disquiet

It felt like they were trapped and wanted out. I guess they were indeed trapped, being stuck in a shop window being ogled at. Is there a new trend in more realistic, angsty dolls for children ... or are these, rather perversely, being marketed more at adults? There was something rather disquieting about so many dolls being brought together in one place. 

I don't know if there is an agreed collective noun for babies. I rather like a dribble of babies but I think a disquiet of babies is much better. I see a scene like this and I can't get that last 'Toy Story' film out of my head!
