Dominic and the headphones

Today's the day .................... to listen to music

Dominic wasn't really listening through the headphones, we were just messing about.

But isn't it incredible how much babies are affected by music - and really do seem to be listening intently to it?  Different kinds of music bring a different reaction too.  Will put on some jazz and the two of them were bopping about (you had to be there ...!)  But then some sad, classical music which followed, made him go quiet and very thoughtful-looking.  And although I feel that this must be valuable research information pertaining to the field of child psychology, I'm pretty sure that someone has already written a thesis (or two) on that subject.  

It is though, the wonder of having a grandchild that you have so much more time to notice such things - than you ever did as a busy parent .......................
