Auld grey town

Today's the day .......................... for a different viewpoint

We called in on joiner son Tim today to see the new kitchen that he has been working on this week.

It was in a house in a part of the town that we had never really been in before.  Considering how small Kendal is - and how long we've lived here - you might find that surprising, but it's true.  It's an area very close to the centre, very easy to walk to (if you don't mind lots of steps) but almost impossible to find by car.

So it was good to see the town from a different viewpoint - over the rooftops, past the Town Hall clock - right to Benson Knott  in the distance.  And if you want to see Tim's kitchen, there's a shot below .............................
