From small acorns........

Hard to imagine what this small oak bush might look like in 100 years time.  Makes me realise we are prone to live in the moment rather than think of planning not just for our future but for the generations that follow.  

A busy weekend, punctuated by seeing each of the northern hemisphere rugby nations lose at the quarter final stage of the rugby world cup.  It seems so unfair for Scotland; affected by the role of the television match official in two pivotal points in the match.  One were he intervened, causing the loss of a Scots player for 10 minutes, but on the other occasion not intervening when clearly the referee had made a mistake in awarding a penalty to the Australians in the last minute of the match.  The resultant penalty points put the Aussies through by one point! Cruel (but it's only a game!).
