Peneobscot River in Maine

As we traveled from Bangor Me. where we arrived from our plane ride, we jouneyed along much of this gorgeous blue river read about here. The Penobscot River is home to the Penobscot Indian Nation.  We stopped to admire and view this beautiful river many times.  All along the river were small homes scattered in the towns along the way and most all of them had some type of canoe lying alongside them.Extra is the sign on the Old Town Me. canoe and kayak store...we had hoped to go in, but it was closed then!
