VERBENA BONARIENSIS

I often grow this from seed as I like it's bold late display, but missed it this year.  I haven't seen it in municipal planting before, so had to stop half way across the High Street in Renfrew to record it.  The sight made up for an otherwise wasted journey. 

Raining today, for the first time since I don't know how long.  Weather for a slow cook lamb casserole, methinks.
