Wednesday things

An early start. Panicking about being late for a school assembly. A broken passenger window. A cold and windy drive to school. A frustrating afternoon trying to work at the garage while my car was fixed. General moaning and annoyance.

Then a gentle run this evening to get my legs back into it. Clearing my head. Not worrying about the stopwatch and being able to stop and take a picture of the beautiful leaves. The cutest little boy running alongside me and trying to beat me while his mother shouted after him to slow down. Remembering when that was a common occurrence in Zambia.

A lovely dinner. A glass of wine.
