Lake District Autum Edition
Calfclose Bay in Derwentwater with Walla Crag in the background.
Desiree and i met up at Birmingham International train station to start our weekend long trip to Lake District. Every train connection we took arrived on time and so we had a couple or so hours left to walk around one side of the lake before retiring to our hostel and before the daylight drew to a close.
Before actually getting to our hostel, we bought food items from Booths at the town centre. We were also lucky enough to see their Saturday market but did not buy anything from any of the stalls. I was mistaken as a Chinese (again!) by one of the shop owners (tried to get my attention by saying "Ni Hao!"). I was quick to tell him that "I am not Chinese." with a smirk/smile on my face.
Perhaps the most memorable part of the walk was probably seeing a guy's naked hairy butt. Desiree and I were walking along the shoreline and a guy was changing behind one of the rocks in the shoreline supposedly being covered by a jacket or small towel held by one of his mates, however, his mate was not doing a good job as he was only covering the guys torso rather than his lower region. Good thing he was facing backwards else we would have gotten the surprise of our lives.
