The colours of Autumn

Whilst the sun was out and it is still so mild Nature has a way of reminding you it is Autumn and Winter is just around the corner. On my lunchtime trip around Bury town I happened to spy at a tree in the centre which has lost most of its leaves upon the ground and gazing up at those still on the tree you can see the autumnal colours appearing.

It is a beautiful time of year, although the fallen leaves can drive you a bit mad as they seem to end up everywhere (especially in the gap in my car where the windscreen wipers are!!). I love the different shades of red, brown and yellow you get from the dying leaves. So it was a pleasant trip into town to do some shopping and yet more name changing at the bank / building society.

The clocks went back over the weekend so now it is almost dark when I leave off work so I’m keen to get home and light the candles in the lounge to make it cosy (old romantic me!). Tonight was a candle and soap night, complete with some Honeymoon photo editing. Love looking at the photos of Rome as it was so beautiful and the photos hold some happy memories. On the same theme looking forward to seeing the new James Bond film which was released this evening as it has been shot in Rome (and Daniel Craig is the other reason for seeing it!!). Think after all the hype surrounding this film we will wait a few weeks until the pandemonium dies down a bit!
