Birthday gin

The sun happily made another appearance so much of the day was spent lounging at the resort. Squidge was grumpy and complaining she wanted to go home which was ever so slightly depressing for Angus and I especially as it was his birthday.

We tried our best to ignore her, sipping fizz at breakfast and enjoying cocktails at the beach later while she had a few hours in the kids club. She had a good time this time making Halloween masks and playing in the playground.

Had arranged a surprise cake to arrive in the room for Angus so we went home for an early bath and bedtime for her and a night out for us (a lovely babysitter called Yvonne sat downstairs in our suite reading her book for a few hours). Meanwhile we walked across the resort for a gorgeous meal at the steak place and a large birthday gin for Angus. Not a bad birthday as they go!

We're on a diet now. We both feel like beached whales.
