Flocks ..

My main mission when I went out today was to find some roadkill to bait the trap with. Eventually I found a poor squashed pheasant which is now hanging up in the trap, trying to tempt poor old Jack in. Jack has had his first antibiotic and is looking worse than ever. I feel awful not feeding him (other than his meds sandwich) - but he has to feel hungry enough to go into the trap - I've asked my fox friendly neighbours not to feed him either.

Whilst out I saw hundreds and hundreds of fieldfare but couldn't really spend long enough to get a good photo, but you get the idea!
