We don't need no education....

This is the infant building of the school No 1 and No 2 went to. A Beautiful old Victorian building that is due to be converted into flats. I hope they do justice to it.

The demolition work at the front is where they are removing the temporary 'huts' that were build in the 60's or 70's as 'temporary' accommodation. This is where my two girls spent P2 ( a bit cold in the winter!).

The build on the left is the gym hall.

The girls were very happy in these buildings - lots of happy memories for all of us.

A lovely new school was built next door - all mod cons. Pity daughter No 3 can't go to this school. We have moved 1.5 miles down the road and are no longer in catchment despite 9 years of committee work, PTA and volunteering. It's taking a while for me to get used to the idea.

I'll blip this building work as it goes on. I'm very excited now that the work has finally started !
