Blood Brothers

A few months ago I won tickets for the Director's Box at the Edinburgh Playhouse to see Blood Brothers.

Since we are off on holiday tomorrow, and Tash leaves for Doha a few days after we return, this was our last chance for a girls night out.

Lovely pre-theatre G&T's sitting outside looking at the home time traffic jams, fabby pre-theatre dinner at a nearby Italian (were we wrong to leg it quickly when we realised they hadn't charged us for the wine???) and settled into our special seats behind the lighting desks for the show.

Being a canny Scot, I looked at the other 6 seats in out cubby hole and thought about all the people we should have smuggled in.

Great show, and I even enjoyed the long walk to the bus stop in high heels (yes our Scottish bus stops all have high heels!) because Princes Street was closed AGAIN for tram works.

Thanks to Emma for organising the tickets, and to my co-star Natasha....G&T's in the director's box just won't be the same without you! xxx
