The woods - again

We spent 3. 5 hours out with the walking group. We headed through the woods at the back of our house then across the moor in beautiful weather. Only six of us turned out - some are on holiday, and others have various commitments. They came in for soup at the end and Katy brought an apple cake,

My camera seems to have developed a problem in that all my pictures look faded, even on auto. Any ideas? I hope I didn't get dust/sand in it in the desert. I quite like the effect it gives this shot but I want it fixed!
