Dusk at the park

It was a beautiful day, but I spent the morning at the discussion group meeting, as I've missed a few this year. The topic was how we should fund the arts. People were prepared to pay more tax. We also felt that now so many English schools are out of local authority control, what with so-called "free" schools and academies run as businesses, and the prescriptive curriculum, there is no opportunity for young people to get an early interest.

In the afternoon we were on babysitting duty. It takes no time now to get to the park, as Ella is such a fast walker. The blip is of Ella and Nathaniel on the big slide - the hilarity is due to Nathaniel coming down and bumping her.

He has a new word "disgusting", said at every opportunity.
