My girl came with me to Queensferry today. She brought this tune with her. I was immediately energised. I think it should be a part of my alarm call in the morning. We bounced into the house today and Granny was delighted to see her newly bronzed granddaughter.

Mother was in a tiz. She had lost both her lottery ticket and a packet of cotton buds. Given that I check her numbers the lottery ticket was not important (nae luck). As for the cotton buds, we could buy more - but they were playing on her mind. I know how these things effect her, she would be up half the night searching. I looked in a number of places and shouted several times when I saw her climb onto chairs to reach high places.

Eventually we found both; the lottery ticket in her purse where I told her it would be, and the cotton buds - well perhaps a little more unconventially in the cupboard with the pots and pans. She is a fastidiously clean woman but to be considering cleaning pots with a cotton bud is taking things to the extreme surely?

A visit to Crammond produced the energy I needed for today's image. The River Almond was almost bursting it's banks and the dam really was this incredible colour. It looks like it has just had some highlights put in for the summer. The force of the water and the energy and fast movement was superb.

Both my girl and my mother share their lack of lung capacity and both were harbouring a cough today. I'm dodging it by keeping moving and by dancing to Paloma - join in! join in!
