Perfect Martini for a productive day

Our intended walk by the coast with our weekend guests S and M did not materialise as it poured all day. But it worked out well for us. Artist friend S advised me about where and how I should hang our paintings - I'd not dared since we decorated months ago. (Previously I just put them where the previous owners had hooks.). Mr C and M got them all hung. Not only that M sorted out a problem with my iMac and S put weights in my curtains which were not hanging properly.

So we thought we'd break into the Edinburgh 57% ABV gin #2 daughter gave us. I made a martini 5 parts to 1. Here it is - that's mine - we did have one each!

Now I'm hoping I can get dinner on the table.
