My Hero.

This is, as you can probably guess,  is my Dad. He served in the RAF , at the outbreak of WW2. He was posted from RAF Marham to North Africa . then on to Italy. He didn't  come home for three years.  He said not long before he died, What was it all for? 
My extra photo is the box that he kept his medals in, and my Mum's wedding ring alongside. The photo is of my Dad with the ground crew.
