Know Your Rights

This weekend we were in Salisbury, as we often are at this time of year. Walking through the Cathedral cloisters, I came across this video installation which has been created as part of the celebrations marking the 800th anniversary of the signing of Magna Carta - the Cathedral houses one of the four remaining copies of the document.
The video was punchy, hard-hitting in its choice of images (Berlin Wall coming down, clips of speeches by Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King Jr, protests against invasion of Iraq) and a very timely reminder of how relevant these issues are today, with the Human Rights Act under threat by our government.
