Laxton's Epicures

These are the apples that I picked up at Hughenden Manor on Tuesday, from their walled garden. They're so good that I plan to go back for more - they're having Apple Days there over the weekend of 9 - 10 October with free apple tasting, children’s activities and games, cider making demonstrations and apple juice sales.
These ones are destined to become an apple and mint sorbet - quick, easy and refreshing.
