Pigeon by the sea

My best photo of the day.

Blipmate and I were at Mapua with the tide rushing in, boats coming and going and the Mapua Ferry taking cyclists across to Rabbit Island. Yet, my best photo was of a pigeon which flew around under the wharf decking and hopped along the rocks.

A light cloud but little wind made for a calm day on which I mowed lawns, and caught up with neighbours.
