All that glitters

A group of us went to Stratford yesterday evening to have a bite to eat and then go to a concert that Technophobe was singing in,  in aid of a breast cancer charity. This glitterball was in the centre of the high ceiling and sending lovely colourful sparkles around the singers and the audience. I hadn't seen a glitterball for years. 
We enjoyed a super evening - until we arrived home to hear of the dreadful news of the events that had being going on in Paris while we were out.
I spent a long time working in Paris, and it's a beautiful city, and like all cities, has a mix of the good, the bad and the ugly. Let's hope that we never see this bad and ugly side anywhere ever again. Our thoughts are with all of those who have suffered.
