The Hidden Sky Was The Clue

Today was by no means the most beautiful this autumn ... (understatement of the month) ... but at least it started off quite interesting ... :o)

If it hadn't been for the lower layer of cloud, then sunrise might have been quite spectacular ... but the red, higher cloud seen here, did produce what would have been a perfect example of "red sky in the morning" ... The lower clouds, however, then bunched up and produced what can only be described as "torrential drizzle" ...
... and then there was the wind to contend with as well, of course ... :o|
