Bonus Events

Well, here I am... NOT IN JERSEY! We were just pulling out of my drive last night to drive down to Poole when we got a text saying that the ferry today was being cancelled due to the approaching storm. We got on the phone as quickly as possible, and unfortunately it was confirmed. We spent ages trying to decide whether to fly or not, but after hours of deliberation decided against it as I hate flying so much, so we're postponing the trip until next year.

To make the most of today, we decided to complete two bonus events for our Challenge; golf and squash, and then rewarded ourselves with a soak in the local spa. G had gone back to his parents for the weekend, so we had an excellent girls night with a couple of other friends. We were nearly ready to leave for a night on the town when a friend fainted. This obviously put our plans on hold, but she quickly recovered for a more relaxed, less crowded night at home.
