Long Day

A hectic day of interviewing candidates to replace me in my job. It was as interesting as it was draining; luckily we had a couple of really strong people today, ahead of just as full a day tomorrow. My friend Ellie was away for a couple of days, so I gratefully crashed in her room, meaning not such an early start in the morning. Her flatmate Nome is a good friend of mine, and we went out for a few much-needed drinks to the pub 2 minutes from their house- perfect to sleepily stumble home.
