Autumn's last glorious fling

Its been a lovely Autumn. September and October were lovely months.

Today we reached the border. This Autumn scene gave me much joy but I was conscious as I stood taking the photograph that a very icy wind was making my fingers cold. Time for the photographers gloves which temporarily release just the fingers necessary for using the camera controls.

This scene is in the parkland of the Christian conference centre where Mrs. K. goes for an early morning swim every Saturday. The rest of the day was spent on the M6 and the M5 on our way to stay with dear friends in Somerset.
