Caution - Otters

I was on a very wet and grey Island of Mull all day for a surgery and some meetings. I had been wondering what I was going to be able to get as a blip when I suddenly drove past this.

The Mull Otter Group had been in touch with me earlier this year about their wish to erect some road signs given the number of otters being killed by traffic.   Subsequently  I managed to get Argyll & Bute Council  to make a suggestion about how the issue  could start to be resolved.   

So it was encouraging to see the first of the  warning  signs now in place.
