Goosander

I wish this Goosander had swum nearer to the edge of the pond .... it was hard to get a good photo with the three Goosanders in the middle of the large pond in Queen's Park.  I don't think they were interested in breadcrumbs!

I had no intention of including any extra photos today but when I came home at lunch time after walking the dogs there was an unrequested delivery waiting for me outside my gate and on my front grass ... no delivery note!  The only clue was the name of the manufacturer and it was in Londonderry, Northern Ireland.  To cut a very long story short I phoned the company and spoke to a very helpful young man who offered to phone all the companies they supply in the Glasgow area ... with 5 minutes he was back on the phone with the good news that he had found the supplier in Paisley. A phonecall of apology and a promise that all would be gone by 3 o'clock ..... and it was!  I presume the delivery is now where it should be!
