Hockin at da Auction

A windy night but cleared for a lovely sunrise this morning.  The wind continued through the day with showers, and wintery at times.

I had a busy morning in the museum office.  We have nearly got the office advent calendar ready to go now.  The afternoon has been down in the museum and getting the Christmas tree up for a staff Christmas party on tonight.  It's starting to look a lot like Christmas :)  Nipped up to mam's after tea.  Laura and family were down too.  We all nipped up to Lerwick and picked up niece Megan at the same time.  Think it's going to be a lazy evening at home with the telly :)

When we up in Lerwick this evening, the Christie clan piled into the Lerwick auction room.  It's the viewing night tonight and I always love to go for a look and see if I can spot a potential bargain.  Unfortunately there wasn't much tonight for my liking, well the odd peerie thing but won't be going tomorrow.  Taken at Harry Hay's Auction, Market Street, Lerwick.
