Salvador

The weather here is hot and humid! Cam's sweat level was extreme haha so after a morning of walking through the historic centre, we retreated to the beach for beers and swimming!

For lunch we ate 'acarajé' which is a street food staple here. It's a kidney bean and dried shrimp dumpling topped with fresh prawns and hot sauce! We didn't go back for seconds.

We also visited a museum that told a lot of history about Salvador, which was the biggest port in the world for African slave trading for many years. A very interesting and sad period of history for Brazil.
