Ride On

One of our local racing stables has started to hold open mornings. This is to foster good relations with the village and also I suspect to try to recruit new shareholders to the owner syndicates.
I went up there with Coffeepotter and Nikonabike to see what it was all about and to take some photos. It's at the top of what passes for a hill in these parts so it was very windy as it is all over the country today.
The jockey on the left was due to race at Chepstow today, and had just been alerted to the fact that high winds might close the Severn bridge, making his journey more difficult. He was just checking on his phone.

I think we all fell in love with a big black horse called Thomas Crapper! We will be looking out for him in future.
Th extra shows the horses making their way down the field looking out over the Warwickshire countryside.

P. S. I'd like to wish good luck to the Blipfuture Gang of Four who are hoping to resuscitate our beloved site.
