Yes another very hot and sunny day and another ruin - I have to say I was pretty tired at this point and the history was beginning to blur together!

From the port at Katakolon we went on tour to Olympia and its wonderful museum.  It is very strange to stand in the original stadium where the first olympics were held, even standing on the marble starting line (see extras).  Evidently the original athletes all competed naked!  The olympic flame is lit at this site every four years.
