The Bear - one of Wales oldest coaching inns
Met up with friends and relatives in the Bear hotel, Crickhowell for lunch.
This pub has collected numerous awards over the years.
Originally a coach house going back to 1432 when it was a stopping off point for coaches from Llandovery and Brecon to London.
By 1582 the coach was leaving Brecon at midnight and reaching London at 4.50 pm ( 16 hours).
It went through Abergavenny, Monmouth and Gloucester en route to London.
