The Welsh Borders now have a thriving artistic community and we have just visited the Monnow Arts Centre an independent centre established a few years ago in the Black Mountains.
This sculpture by Patricia Volk forms part of an extensive contemporary sculpture garden. Inside they have a current exhibition of contemporary European drawings along with an exhibition of Ben Nicholson work.

Things are certainly changing in the visual arts in Wales.
