Palheiro Gardens

I didn't intend to blip another expansive Madeiran view again, but I couldn't resist this one.

We were in Blandy's Gardens and Funchal was tiny in the distance with the harbour and the cruise ships like toys.

Another stunning day - well into the 20s - and clear blue skies. Their roses have lasted longer this year, they say.

Those of you who remember previous views from here will note that the damage from the fire is rapidly repairing thanks to Mother Nature (and these wonderful gardeners.)
