Moce Castaway

Time to leave Castaway Resort. We have ferries and buses to catch to take us to the rather mundane Novotel beside Nadi Airport. Everything done in "Fiji Time" which is not an exact science, but everything works and in a relaxed competent fashion. We stepped out of our "Bure" for a last swim with the exotic reef fish before picking up a couple of exchange books to  loose ourselves in whilst sitting in the shade waiting for our "Cat" to arrive.
The journey back to Denarau is a mini cruise with commentary about the islands we pass. The boat is cool, comfortable and quiet. At Denarau we get a coffee in the harbour area but didn't visit HRC as we had picked up the requisite bottle opener before we left for Castaway. Our last Fijian dollars were spent in the taxi which took us to the hotel and we ate our last Fijian fish in the hotel dinning room - Tuna like Marlin in a noodle stir fry for Margie and sautéed in a "Crispy Herb Topping" for myself - though the customary compulsory sharing was done. A great memory for a last supper in Fiji. The bar has been set high, both in New England and in Fiji. Lets hope NZ can surpass it. No pressure Catriona and Diane.
